Naija Energy Meets UK Nightlife
Ankara Fiesta is an annual celebration that fuses Afro-urban music, fashion-forward experiences and Naija energy. It creates an environment where members of the African diaspora and Lagos-based professionals can come together to socialise, celebrate and reconnect with their cultural roots.
Created by UK-based Nigerian DJs Jossy Ladd and DJ 1ST CHOICE KC, and organised by 1ST ROK ENTERTAINMENT LONDON, the event debuted in 2025 and is now growing into a distinctive platform celebrating Nigerian identity and contemporary African culture.

DJ Jossy Ladd
UK-BASED NIGERIAN DJ | ENTREPRENEUR | CULTURAL PIONEER
With more than 36 years of experience in music and entertainment, Jossy Ladd is a UK-based Nigerian DJ and cultural curator whose career began in Lagos in 1979. He helped establish the tradition of Bank Holiday Afro-diaspora events in the UK, and as founder of Rokstedi Entertainment produced the Summer Jamboree, marking his 36-year milestone in 2024. Together with DJ 1ST CHOICE KC, he co-founded 1ST ROK Entertainment and launched Ankara Fiesta in 2025.

UK-BASED NAIJA DJ | EVENTS PROMOTER | CULTURAL CURATOR
Adekunle Coker, professionally known as DJ 1ST CHOICE KC, is a UK-based Nigerian DJ recognised for his involvement in Afrobeats nightlife and cultural events. Originally from Ogun State, he began his career in Nigeria before moving to the UK, becoming one of the early Nigerian DJs to perform at prominent clubs in London’s West End. He is co-founder of 1ST ROK Entertainment and the headline DJ for the Ojude Oba Extravaganza in Ijebu Ode.
